Moisturizing our skin is something we all are not used to doing. Washing our face and removing our make-up at the end of the day is a tedious task itself, forget about moisturizing it. Our skin has natural oils of its own known as sebum. When we wash our faces, we strip our skin off this natural oily coating. Even if we don’t moisturize our skin on a daily basis, this natural oil in a way helps to moisturize it to some extent. There are a plethora of products available in the market these days which claim to counter your problem of moisturizing. But what we don’t know is that there are various natural ingredients available to us in our very own kitchen. So here are few natural moisturizers tucked away somewhere in our very own kitchen.

#1 FOR OILY SKIN

People with oily skin are unknown to the fact that these natural moisturizers are a boon for them, so let these natural products be your new best friends.

Bananas

Bananas are known to be good source of vitamin A and a result they help to a great extent in restoring your damaged and dull skin. For this just mash banana and apply it over your face. Put this for about 20 minutes and later wash it with lukewarm water. Being rich in vitamin C too, it helps to give our skin that natural glow.

Avocado

Being rich in vitamin A, avocado offers clear and beautiful skin. Apart from this it is rich in minerals like potassium, copper and iron that collectively work wonders in giving your skin the moisture that it needs. For this you can start consuming avocado juice which is a great energizer or just mash an avocado or two, apply it on your skin and rinse it off after some 15-20 minutes.

Those with normal skin i.e., from oily to dry, are the blessed section. Their skin adjusts well with any kind of climate.

Cucumber

Cucumbers have a very good amount of water content in them. By simply keeping cucumber slices on the eyes at night can help you get rid of puffiness better than any other medication as it is rich in vitamin C. Cucumbers help in restoring the moisture thus maintaining a healthy and supple skin.

Grapes

Grapes are rich in vitamin E which helps in retaining moisture in the skin and also helps to rejuvenate dead skin cells. For this just mash few grapes, apply it over your face and wash it after a while. Repeat it few times a week for best results. Also grapes can act as a natural sunscreen since they have antioxidants in them.

Papaya
