Any party is incomplete without drinks. Be it soft drinks or mocktails for kids or cocktails and alcohol for the elder ones; you need a well-stocked inventory. If you are older than 21 yrs old, then we recommend you try these drinks.
Advisory: Please drink responsibly.
#1 Woo Woo
Celebrate your day in Ted Mosby style! Get yourself a Woo Woo, with 2 parts vodka, 1 part peach schnapps and lots of cranberry juice. A perfect start to your celebration.
#2 Long Island Tea
Try the Long Island Ice Tea that includes 4 different types of alcohol: gin, vodka, white rum, white tequila, as well as triple sec coke and some lemon wedges.
Want to give a try on shots? Jagerbomb is waiting for you. Traditionally, this was a mixture of a glass of beer with a drop of Jägermeister. But now, it’s usually served with energy drinks like red bull.
Raise the bar with Sidecar. A great introduction to Brandy, punched with Cognac (or sometime Bourbon), Cointreau (or triple sec) and lemon juice, gives you the feel of a sophisticated and suave drink.
A classy drink made up of bourbon or rye whiskey, bitters, sugar and some club soda or water is a clear winner. Adore whiskey? Try out this classic style drink called Old Fashioned.
A glass of class is what you order when you get a Martini for yourself. A basic Martini is made up of gin and dry vermouth that is usually served with an olive or two. You can add a few variations to this epitome of class:
- Dry – less vermouth than the standard ratio
- Wet – more vermouth than the standard ratio
- Dirty – addition of olive juice or olive brine
- Perfect – equal parts vermouth and gin
- With a twist – if you’d rather have lemon over olives in your drink
#7 Ginger Beer and Rum
A drink consisting of ginger-beer (non-alcoholic, like root beer), dark rum and bitters may take you to another world. But you might take some time to get used to the flavor. Worth giving a try, this Dark and Stormy drink is surely heavier than what your regular drinks on the house are.
#8 Butter Nipple Shots
Shots are always good. Buttery Nipple sounds awkward? Get over with the name and try this mixed shot made up of equal parts of Sambuca (anise- flavored liqueur) and Bailey’s Irish Cream.
