The television has changed. The shows made today are of much better quality (in terms of direction and production) but they don’t grasp our attention. While we may resonate with these shows, it is a pure torture to watch a re-run of an episode. The classic television shows have a certain charm. We don’t get bored of silly jokes. And they really de-stress you.

If you have had a long day today, then pick one of these classic shows and unwind yourself. You will wake up feeling fresh and relaxed.

#1 F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
Set in New York, F.R.I.E.N.D.S followed lives of six best friends – Rachel, Monica, Joey, Chandler, Ross and Phoebe. Each character was funny in his/her own way. I absolutely can not wait to watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S. reunion episode.

#2 That 70s Show
As the name suggests, That 70s Show was set in Wisconsin in 70s. The story was about high school kids Eric, Donna, Jackie, Kelso, Hyde and Fez. The series captured some serious social issues prevalent in 70s such as substance abuse, sexism and generation conflict. Kitty’s laugh was obnoxious.

#3 Sex and The City

A story about the friendship of 4 middle aged women living in New York. They are all different in their own ways but find comfort in each other’s company. We all drooled over Mr. Big.

#4 Diff’rent Strokes
Diff’rent Stroke is about a millionaire Phillip Drummond and his daughter. Phillip decides to adopt his maid’s sons from Harlem Arnold and Willis after their mother passes away. The show was successful but the kids had a rather tough life after the show ended unfortunately.

#5 Full House

You got it! Full House is my absolute favorite. I can never get bored of this show. DJ, Stephanie and Michelle are looked after by their father, uncle Jesse and Joey when their mother passes away. The challenges faced by Danny as single father is an absolute laughter riot.

#6 Bewitched

Bewitched is my second favorite show after Full House. If you are looking for some desi element then this is the show for you. Samantha, a witch, falls in love with a human Darrin. The duo decide to marry which does not go well with Samantha’s mom Endora. While Samantha constantly tries not use magic, Endora leave no opportunity to humiliate her son-in-law.

#7 I dream of Jeannie

I Dream of Jeannie is Jeannie and Juju’s original version. Barbara Eden plays Jeannie and Larry Hagman is an astronaut. The show is about how Tony tries to hide Jeannie but is unsuccessful. In the end, the duo fall in love.
