None of us enjoy drinking that plain glass of milk. As children we were given something in return to finish that glass of milk.
Milk is nutritious and provides us with daily dose of Vitamin D, calcium and protein. It is advisable to drink a glass of milk everyday and while most of us want to; the taste turns most of us off. These 7 milkshakes are tasty, quick to make and will make you fall in love with milk again.
#1 Chocolate Banana shake
You need: 1 cup chocolate ice cream, 1 Banana, 1/2 cup Milk. Whipped cream (optional)
How to: Blend ice cream, banana and milk in your regular mixer. Add ice if required.
#2 Berry Blast Shake
You need: Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, 1/2 cup milk, 1 cup strawberry ice-cream, castor sugar (optional)
How to: Mix and blend the ingredients together with the help of your mixer. Add castor sugar as per the desired sweetness.
#3 Coco Loco shake
You need: vanilla ice cream, sweetened condensed milk, cream of coconut/ coconut milk, shredded coconut and 2 spoons of Nutella.
How to: Blend vanilla ice-cream and condensed milk together. Add coconut milk/cream and blend the mixture. Now add Nutella and blend well. Ornate the brim of your glass with some toasted shredded coconut.
#4 Mint cookie cream shake
You need: Mint chocolate chip ice-cream/mint syrup and vanilla ice-cream Oreos, milk, drinking chocolate powder.
How to: soak your oreos in warm water until soft, now add Oreos and mint chocolate chip ice-cream or if you cannot find the ice-cream add mint syrup and 1 scoop of vanilla ice-cream with 100ml milk and 1 spoon full of drinking chocolate. Blend until thoroughly combined. Top up your drink with Oreo cookies.
#5 Maple Walnut Shake
You need: vanilla ice-cream, milk, maple syrup, walnuts
How to : Put in 1 scoop vanilla ice-cream, 1/2 cup milk, and about 2 spoons maple syrup in the jar, after everything unifies add about 4-5 walnuts. Blend until crushed.
#6 Peanut – Butter Scotch Shake
You need: chocolate ice cream, peanut butter, milk, honey, peanuts.
How to: sauté some peanuts on a pan and roast them until golden, now dip them in honey and keep aside. Add in 1 scoop chocolate ice-cream 2 spoons peanut butter and 1/2 cup milk in your blender, mix until smooth. Sprinkle honey roasted peanuts before serving or drinking the shake.
#7 Coffee Chip shake
You need: coffee, chocolate ice-cream, milk, sugar, whipped cream (optional).
How to: Add 1 spoon coffee powder, 1 spoon sugar , 1 scoop chocolate ice-cream and 1/2 cup milk in your blender.
