Situated in a corner, this place is hard to locate. Chawla is famous for its Amritsari Chur Chur Naan; dripping with butter. His yummy chole perfectly compliments the naan.

#4 Chicken Curry at Kake da Dhaba, Connaught Place

This Dhaba is tiny and you may even doubt our recommendation but don’t judge the book by its cover. Kaka da Dhaba is famous for its chicken curry and biryani. It is located on the Outer Circle of Connaught Place.

#5 Cold Coffee at DePaul’s, Janpath

After an exhausting day haggling and shopping at Janpath, stop at this place to refresh yourself. They server cold coffee in tiny bottles that you may also carry back as souvenir back home. Their sandwiches are equally good and you could either try Mexican Chipotle Sandwich or Tandoori Paneer Sandwich.

#6 Sandwiches at Hawkers House, Jangpura

When you enter this store, it looks any other department store but there is a little door that leads into a secret room that serves some of the simplest and best sandwiches you can ever find. The sandwiches served with a delicious green chutney are to die for and trust me you won’t know when to stop. I recommend that you try either their ham or chicken sandwich. If you are a vegetarian, then try Grilled Veg Sandwich.

#7 Kebabs at Karim’s, Jama Masjid

If you live in Delhi or are visiting Delhi, then a trip to old Delhi is a must. Karim is the best place for Mughlai food lovers. Not just their kebab is exceptional but you must try Karim’s Chicken Jehangiri and Biryani. And if you plan to have breakfast in Old Delhi, then go for their famous Nihari.
